Dental disease is one of the most common health concerns in dogs. With a higher rate than most other common diseases, and potentially great health risks to your dog if left untreated it is imperative that we take this seriously. By age 3, 80% of dogs are likely to have gum or dental disease. This may begin with plaque buildup but if left untreated it can lead to periodontitis, gingivitis, and teeth loss.

Ideally, from 6 months old we should brush our dogs' teeth regularly (at least twice a day), but this does not usually happen. Chances are, leftover food and bacteria start to build until it becomes plaque which may progress to tartar and other conditions mentioned above.

Dental sticks are made to assist in preventing and reducing plaque and tartar build up and unwanted dental diseases from forming. We recommend giving your dog daily for optimal care, helping to reduce the likelihood of bacteria build-up sin your dog’s mouth.
